New Partnership: Iliff School of Theology

Disciples Seminary Foundation (DSF) and the Iliff School of Theology (Denver, Colorado) are proud to announce a year-long pilot partnership beginning July 1, 2018. Alongside DSF's other partnerships with Claremont School of Theology, Pacific School of Religion, San Francisco Theological Seminary, and Seattle University School of Theology and Ministry, this new partnership with the Iliff School of Theology will be a vibrant addition to our work in supporting and empowering ministerial students across the nation.

Disciples Seminary Foundation’s partnership with the Iliff School of Theology will be similar to those of DSF’s other partnerships: mentorship, leadership training, wider church networking opportunities, and student scholarship support. We look forward to announcing further details over the summer and fall.

“We are very excited to begin this relationship with the Disciples Seminary Foundation,” said Rev. Dr. Thomas V. Wolfe, President and CEO, Iliff School of Theology. “Our missions are well aligned to educate leaders who will bring transformation to contemporary settings of ministry. We look forward to working together to bring theological education fully into a new era.”

Founded in 1892, Iliff School of Theology is an independent, graduate school that educates and develops leaders with courageous theological imaginations and rooted in a long history of preparing pastors for Disciples ministry in the Central Rocky Mountain Region and beyond.

Located in Denver, Colorado, it serves more than 30 denominations and faith traditions and is committed to social justice, inclusiveness, and religious diversity. As one of the best theological schools in the nation, the school offers a diverse community that is supportive, challenging, progressive, and enriching for students.

At present, Iliff School of Theology has 8 Disciples students enrolled and DSF looks forward to participating in their preparation for ministry and sharing Iliff School of Theology’s unique contributions with the rest of our students.

DSF is grateful for the support of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada, the DSF Board, and our generous partners as we expand the impact of our vital work for the Church.
