Claremont School of Theology
About CST: Claremont School of Theology (CST) is committed to an ecumenical and interreligious approach to theological education, representing a wide spectrum of both Christian and non-Christian denominations and faith traditions. CST’s partnership with the DSF was its first upon relocation to Claremont and is now its longest-running ecumenical partnership.
For more than 60 years, through communion and community, CST and DSF have worked together in the formation and preparation of Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ students for lives of ministry and leadership.
This partnership between CST and DSF makes Claremont a unique and dynamic place for Disciples and UCC students to pursue education for ministry.
Located in Claremont, CST has connections throughout southern California and offers a variety of teaching modalities including face-to-face, hybrid, and online options. In fact, its world-class M.Div. program is now available in a 100% online format.

Pacific School of Religion
About PSR: By means of DSF, the Pacific School of Religion maintains a close relationship with the Disciples of Christ. Partly because of the denominational partnership between the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ, in 1987 PSR and DSF established a formal affiliation. The Dean of DSF in Berkeley holds a joint appointment at PSR and DSF, and the DSF Berkeley office is adjacent to the PSR campus. This provides a particularly strong Disciples presence at PSR, a channel of communication between the school, the Northern California / Nevada Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the wider denomination.
PSR/DSF alumni/ae have said that their affiliation with DSF while at PSR provided them the intimacy and denominational opportunities of being at a Disciples seminary, while enjoying the wider ecumenical and interreligious educational experiences of PSR and the GTU.

San Francisco Theological Seminary at University of Redlands
About SFTS: With its distinctive culture of theological inquiry, San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS) became a partner with DSF in 2014. For over 150 years, SFTS has provided a rigorous theological education rooted in the Reformed tradition, renewed daily through dialogue, critical thinking, and practical reflection. Presbyterian since its founding in 1871, SFTS continues to lead theological graduate studies as the only Presbyterian Church U.S.A. (PCUSA) seminary in the west. The degree programs are framed by a classical theology curriculum of scripture, history, systematic theology, ethics, homiletics, and pastoral care — studying these subjects in their deep entanglements with society, spirituality, and the practical affairs of life.
SFTS is located in beautiful San Anselmo, Marin County, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Generous subsidies for on-campus housing provide individuals and families an extraordinary learning environment. SFTS is a close-knit community with expansive educational opportunities. As a founding member of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, SFTS welcomes all Christian faiths for study and expands academic opportunities for interfaith and inter-religious world engagement. SFTS is now the centerpiece of the Graduate School of Theology (GST) at the University of Redlands Marin Campus. The GST prepares students for deep theological engagement, transformational impact, and active leadership in public life.
Program Format: M.Div. and MATS are fully on campus, and/or fully online. D.Min. is offered in a hybrid format. Christian Spirituality and Chaplaincy Programs are also a hybrid format. Certificates through the UR School of Continuing Studies are fully online.
