Rev. Dr. José F. Morales

Rev. Dr. José F. Morales named Assistant Professor of Historical and Comparative Theology at Claremont School of Theology
Disciples Seminary Foundation is excited that Rev. Dr. José F. Morales starts today as Assistant Professor of Historical and Comparative Theology at Claremont School of Theology. For the fifth time in sixty years, CST and DSF have embodied their partnership in a joint appointment. José will continue as DSF’s Director of Pastoral Formation while teaching at CST in this new role. Look for José in DSF offices and in CST classrooms in the years ahead. DSF is grateful for our long partnership with CST, and for this new opportunity. José’s many gifts will contribute mightily to both our institutions and all of our students. Congratulations, José!
Jon Berquist, President of Disciples Seminary Foundation, comments: “I’ve known José as Disciples regional minister, as friend, and as DSF mentor and colleague. His energy and passion for theological education in service of the church and the world are unstoppable and inspiring. I’ve watched as he developed his scholarly capacities and received excellent reviews among his students as a superb teacher. We are now blessed to have Doctor Morales continue to share himself and his gifts in the DSF and CST community. I am grateful to CST’s President, Jeffrey Kuan, for the vision we share of our strengthening collaboration in education and formation. Of course, thanks and congratulations also to Daphne Gascot-Arias and Magnolia, who are valued members of the DSF and CST family.”
