GIVING

Annual Fund

Please give to DSF's Annual Fund, a critical element in financing DSF's mission.

Our Annual Fund expands DSF's ability to offer quality education and competitive scholarships to support our students. Gifts of any amount are welcome.

Student Scholarships

Scholarships help DSF provide scholarships to Disciples seminary students. DSF scholarships enable Disciples seminary students to receive an excellent, thoroughly Disciples theological education by attending leading seminaries in the western US. Students supported by DSF receive 40% tuition assistance.

DSF's Endowment Fund

When you give to DSF's Endowed Funds, you join those who have faithfully done so over the past 50+ years. Gifts to the Endowed Funds remain invested in perpetuity.  Annual earnings are used to finance DSF’s scholarships, education, and operations. The Board of Trustees manages the Funds, which are currently invested with the Christian Church Foundation.
Recurring Gifts

Recurring Gifts Repeating gifts enable a donor to give a greater annual amount with less of an immediate effect on one’s personal budget than a similar one-time gift would have.

Social Justice Fund

Giving to the Social Justice fund is contributing to the advocacy and action work of our students and staff. DSF addresses issues of social justice such as anti-racism, interfaith, mental health, environmentalism, and much more. This fund provided food for protesters in the D.C. Women's March, in addition to lawyers advocating for immigrants during the Travel Ban. It also sent out a trained staff member to pastorally support veterans on the front-line of the Standing Rock protests. This fund will support our social justice work in all areas and on all levels of community.

Certificate of Ministry Studies (CMS) Program Fund

Donating to the Certificate of Ministry Studies program (CMS) is empowering a unique ministry for adults. This program is specially offered in Spanish and focuses on contextual learning for ministry today. DSF's certificate graduates receive top-notch education to prepare them as commissioned ministers and lay leaders in congregations. Our 80 graduates are leaders in established churches as well as five new congregations that they have started.
