Disciple Seminary Foundation creates and welcomes partnerships with students, schools, church organizations and donors — in order to support the formation of leadership in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Further, DSF seeks to ensure that students graduate with the skills for "doing" the ministry of leadership and with spiritual resources for "being" ministers; that seminary partners maintain quality theological education; that churches nurture and call future leaders and support them in preparation for ministry. All of which is made possible by generous donors, including Disciples Mission Fund, who share our vision of leadership for mission in an ever changing future. DSF lives out this mission in four programmatic areas: Graduate Degree Support, Center for Disciples Leadership, Stewardship Opportunities and Certificate of Ministry Studies. In each of these four areas, DSF encourages emerging theological leaders through financial assistance, faculty partnerships, leadership formation initiatives, internships and field placement support.
