DSF's Endowment Fund

Partnering for the Future

The Disciples Seminary Foundation Endowment Fund remains in perpetuity to support future theological leaders. The Fund is under the governance of the DSF Board of Trustees which delegates oversight responsibility to its Investment Committee. DSF invests and maintains these endowed funds as a part of the total DSF endowment with the management objective of providing for the greatest possible return consistent with the protection of principal and ethical management guidelines adopted by the Board of Trustees.

Donors are invited to make a gift to the endowment fund. The principal amount and additions to the fund are never expended. A percentage of the investment income from the fund each year is used to under gird the ministry of DSF.

Donors may also give gifts for restricted endowment use (for example: scholarships for students, books, study opportunities, or field education.) The donor of a restricted or unrestricted named endowment fund may select the name for the fund.

DSF students receive the highest level of theological education through our partner institutions: Claremont School of Theology, Pacific School of Religion, and Seattle University School of Theology and Ministry.

Our students graduate with the skills for effective ministry and with spiritual resources for a lifetime of ministry. DSF also partners with the church to nurture and call future leaders.

All of this is made possible by generous donors, including Disciples Mission Fund, who share our vision of leadership for mission in an ever-changing future.
